A charming family concert that melds emotions and deep connections, featuring some of the Ticino area's top internationally renowned instrumentalists: violinist Melina Mandozzi and her brother Orfeo on the cello, cellist Mattia Zappa and his sister Daria on the violin, together with violist Ivan Vukčević and pianist Francesco Piemontesi, leading from the piano. The programme is designed to foster dialogue within the ensemble that will delight the audience, making the evening even more of a treat: the metaphysical abstraction of a Schubert quintet that shows the composer at the height of his maturity, followed by Brahms’ masterful op.34, with its gentle ripples of gypsy motifs.
