The Settimane Musicali close with the same concert scheduled for last year’s 75th anniversary, which had to be cancelled. The very same program that opene the festival’s very first concert, on April 25th, 1946: performed by the Orchestra della Svizzera Italiana and led by Otmar Nussio, it includes Vivaldi (with one of his most famous symphonies, No.8) and Busoni. François Leleux, acclaimed director (and oboist) leads the orchestra. Soloists of this double Mozart concert, are two great pianists: Ricardo Castro and Plamena Mangova.
