From 1932 to 1939 the Russian composer Sergei Rachmaninoff lived in Switzerland in a villa on Lake Lucerne: Villa Senar. Through the testimonies of conductors Gianandrea Noseda and Paavo Järvi, architect Luca Ortelli and pianist Francesco Piemontesi, the documentary, produced by Radiotelevisione svizzera RSI, reconstructs an important slice of the composer's life.
