A major figure in Early Music since the 1970s, Jordi Savall has been dedicating himself to rediscovering lost musical gems. A reference for music ranging from the Middle Ages to Baroque, Savall has recorded more than 230 albums, with a particular focus on the Hispanic and Mediterranean musical heritage. After a first appearance back in 2009, Savall returns to Ascona with Hespèrion XXI Ensemble and a program dedicated to “Folias & Romanescas - De l’Ancien Monde au Nouveau Monde”.
