Tobias Feldmann is one of the foremost, promising violinists currently touring the world's concert stages. His career was launched by his performances at numerous international competitions where he demonstrated his musical finesse which garnered a long list of distinctions. These included, among others, the renowned 2015 Queen Elisabeth Competition in Brussels, the 2012 International Joseph Joachim Competition in Hanover and the 2012 German Music Competition.

 

Tobias Feldmann has captivated audiences with orchestras such as the Utah Symphony Orchestra, the Beethoven Orchester Bonn, the Orchestre Royal de Chambre de Wallonie and the Brussels Philharmonic Orchestra, to name a few. His long list of collaborators include conductors such as Marin Alsop, Christoph König, Gilbert Varga, Nicholas Milton, Hannu Lintu, Michel Tabachnik, Karl-Heinz Steffens, Toshiyuki Kamioka, and Nicolás Pasquet.
 

As an avid chamber musician, Tobias Feldmann appears regularly in a variety of ensembles, performing at high-profile festivals such as the Mecklenburg-Vorpommern Festival, the Rheingau Music Festival and the Schleswig-Holstein Music festival.

 

In April 2014, he released his debut CD featuring works by Beethoven, Ysaÿe, Bartók and Waxman with GENUIN which immediately attracted widespread praise and attention from the international press and critics alike. His second recital recording with pianist Boris Kusnezow was released in 2017. Tobias’ third album will release his first concerto recording in spring 2018 featuring the concerti of Sibelius and Rautavaara with the Orchestre Philharmonique Royale de Liege with Alpha Classics.
 

In 2017/18 Tobias Feldmann debuts with the Museumsorchester Frankfurt, the Residentieorkest Den Haag, the Moscow State Symphony Orchestra and performs at festivals such as the Moritzburg, Schwetzingen, Beethovenfest Bonn, Kissinger Sommer, Schubertiade and Lockenhaus festivals and tours extensively in Europe. In addition, he will also concertize with his string trio together with Lise Berthaud and Julian Steckel.
